What's the best day moisturiser for combination skin?

I'm looking for a day cream with spf to suit combination (leaning towards oily) skin. I'm 31.

You know how some moisturisers just feel greasy? i hate that - really need it to sink in quickly with no shine, ready to put foundation on top.
I am willing to spend up to £35 to get this right.

Advice please!

I have combination skin and I find the best thing for my skin is to use a product for the oily areas, at the moment it's La Roche Posay Effaklar K, and a product for the dry, which is LRP Redermic C.

I've always found Olay sinks in well to my combination skin; I use their SPF30 ones and they feel light but still mosturising.

Aldi Lacura is v quickly absorbed but does the job.

OP it's not a moisturiser per se, but I'm using Maybelline Dream Fresh BB cream. It 'hydrates' (apparently), has an SPF of 30 and a tint.

I really like it and now use it instead of No 7 tinted moisturiser.

thanks for suggestions. I should have said, I prefer a thick cream to a thin fluid type. needs to be able to fight off wrinkles, breakouts and sleepless nights too.

Chummy - I'm just trailling the Eucerin Even Brighter SPF30 day cream. Fantastically good under makeup (no pilling) and using on neck and decollete too. Feels moisturised but not sticky. Thick cream style.

I have very extreme combination skin (ie, quite dehydrated in most areas apart from Exxon Valdez level of oil in t-zone, ugh). Always had good results from Eucerin - using the 5% urea cream at night which is fab.

Thanks ClaudiaCutie how is the Eucerin Even Brighter going for you? I'm keen to try it but really don't fancy another expensive mistake.

Just wondering if it leaves the skin at all shiny looking when it goes on?

Ask for a sample from the counter.
I use mac prep and prime spf 50 as well

I use this its a local company and its marvellous stuff. really easily absorbed, not at all greasy and just ace.

Ooh liking the look of the Clarins and the avocado/goats milk suggestions.

ggirl are the Clarins lotions thick enough do the job for 30-something skin showing the odd line?
Are they more like a 'milk' or a cream?

Soap and glory 'make yourself' youthful super serum is great.

I am 50 and they're good for me, with my skin I prefer to do most of the moisturising and anti-ageing at night cos otherwise my makeup slides off my face.
They are not milky , thay're a non-oily cream .
I do use hylaraunic serum during the day as well though

Thanks for the idea to stick to the anti ageing routine at night - I night well go for the Clarins lotion with the SPF if you'd say it's similarly effective to the Hydra-Matte.

Kind of wishing the shops were open tomorrow to go get samples.

Alpha h balancing moisturiser is great, and I'm trying out the Bravura London 10% glycolic moisturiser now. Neither are greasy or heavy and No way back from glycolic once you've tried it- nothing better for breakouts, wrinkles, congestion etc IMHO and I've spent YEARS and £££ on products to get skin that I'm finally happy with.
