do people really use them?

Yes, absolutely! If I know I am going to be rushing from meeting to meeting in places that involve big escalators the tube or cobbled streets then I use them. All the women always ask me where I got them from.

I used to use them in my clubbing days too.

LadyMountbatten · 28/04/2013 13:34

why not just wear shoes that fit?

I used to for the walk home after a night in heels, before I found them I took trainers out in my bag, but then I did wear ridiculously high shoes and would rather buy food after the pub than pay for a taxi Grin I haven't worn them in a few years though.

I want some of these but with some kind of strap across, the last time I ran for the train home (I commute every day) I managed to fling one of my flat shoes across kings cross station.

My shoes fit very well. They are just a bugger to run around in all day long. The ballet slip ons take no room in the bag and are easy to slip on and off.

I use mine all the time. I have several colours so if I go to a wedding etc i can coordinate. Hate dancing in bare feet!

I get mine from Redfoot. Usually via Groupon!

LadyMountbatten · 28/04/2013 14:13

After walking through a city centre at 2 in the morning barefoot after a well worn bedded in pair of high heels decided to "bite" back I bought a pair - not worn them yet though .....

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 28/04/2013 14:19

I need some, but they are all too wide for me. I can dance in my super-high heels until at least midnight (they may be removed for events which involve dancing until 4!), but I can't walk the twenty minutes to/from the train station in them.
