Can you help me accessorize this dress?

I have bought this dress to wear at a wedding next month:

I'm struggling with accessories to go with it.

I need a bag and sandals (small-medium heel or wedge ok).
I'm thinking a short cardigan/shrug (not keen on those things you wrap round you).
Unsure whether to get something to go on my head but definitely don't want a hat.
I could also change the belt for a coloured one.

I already own black sandals, which might be ok, and I've got a suitable cute cardigan in grey but think the colour is too boring. I wonder if bright pink might be nice? Or another colour?

Ladies, can you help?

On the hat front I think a black saucer hat would be gorgeous.

I agree Mrspaddy - a saucer hat would look look fab but I don't think I'd feel comfortable wearing a hat for this particular occasion.

Thanks for those links - I love both of the boxy clutches. The Phase Eight shrug is also v nice.

Think I might go for a pink bag/shrug and stick with the black sandals I already have.

Am now coming round to the idea of a fascinator too!
