I've had bunions for a year now and can no longer wear high heels. Can anyone recommend comfy shoes. My Majorca villa boots have been fantastic over the winter but my converse are hurting a bit. Any tips?

I didn't know I had bunions until someone told me last summer..... I have just bought some black ballet pumps from Jones Bootmaker called Gabby. They are well cushioned, rubber sole and are a bit wider fit and they are so comfortable my bunions seem happy!

Until my mum had her bunion removed a 2 years ago she had fitflops for the summer and ugg boots for the winter, they were the only things she could wear, the fitflops were soft and sat nicely around the bunion, she couldnt get any other shoe on!

I think I have a bunion and it hurts!

Yep, she wished she had got it done years ago and she is now planning on getting the other foot done :)

Aw great I only have one and not at that stage yet but good to know there's an effective treatment for it..

Have you had it medically confirmed it is a bunion. I had a lump on my foot which gp thought was bunion as well turned out to be bone spur and I had surgery to remove it. A few months on I am skipping about the place and I can wear any shoes apart from high heels which I never wore anyway.
