Bought some converse off've eBay, bargain. Washed them cos I'm a snob. They are now dry, and I need to suss how the heck to wear em, what with etc.

If it helps they are the double tongue ones, a very very pale pink (off white) and the underneath layer is pink. And they are ankle high.

More or less go with anything.

Jeans, leggings, skirts, dresses. The only thing they don't work with IMO is wider legged trousers.

I just got a new pair. I've been wearing them since my teens and I'm now in my late thirties. They are brilliant.

I have the low tops or whatever they're called in pink these ones

In hindsight I would have got a more neutral colour so they go with more. With the pink I feel I am a bit limited to wearing with a pink top!

Though I am planning to get white ones once I have some spare cash! (Never!)

I wear them with skinny jeans or slightly flared jeans and casual tops/tshirts.

They look good with chinos rolled up at the bottom like in the pics on here halfway down the page

I've also got a low tops pair in burgundy. Love them, mainly wear with jeans, slim cut and skinny.

Am now thinking of a Superga pair, they sell them in White Company now.....

No hanging laces/bow is allowed to be seen ever. Laces should be tied behind the tongue and all ends tucked in out of sight.

Hi-tops look best with opaque tights worn with shorts, or skinny jeans or fancy leggings.
