Measuring +H cup breasts for maternity/ breast feeding bra

I have always been able to knock out small children with my breasts, but since the birth of my first child I have been a 36H. When 20 weeks pregnant I purchased a breast feeding bra in this size, and frankly ladies there is now more of me then there is of bra.
I'm now 38 weeks and need to get my breast feeding bras. Last time round I went to Braissimo for bras, but I don't think they will have anything close to what ever my new size is going to be.
I live in London, can anyone recommend anywhere I can have them professionally measured and might be able to buy something suitable? I would try Rigby and Peller but I don't think they have breast feeding bras in the size I will need. Or should I just measure myself and order away?

Watching with interest ... I'm up to a 32H at 15 weeks and growing!

I have a crop top thing for sleeping in which has drop down cups, but I'm not going to be comfortable leaving the house in it.

That was me with my 28 Js! Boy did I look ridiculous for 6 months till they settled!

I just measured myself the best I could and ordered on line from a nursing bra website which did free returns. I just ordered a free different sizes & then returned the ones that didn't fit straight away.
alternatively try your local NCT branch. Most have a trained bra fitter who will come to the house to get you sorted out & you don't have to be a member to make use of them.
P.s. Did you know it's ok to wear a wired nursing bra after the first few weeks as long as it's fitted properly & checked regularly. I found mine much more comfy than the non wired ones

I'm always recommending bras4mums.co.uk on the MN pregnancy section. They do a great range called Bravado which always gets rave reviews for those large of nork. They do fab fitting advice over the phone & do have some mobile fitters. The Bravado bras I got covered a range of sizes and went up to M - normally I am a G!

Bravissimo is probably still your best bet especially for fitting - they go up to a K cup.

I'm 30J and got mine from bravissimo.

Another recommendation for TJ at www.bras4mums.co.uk she saved my bacon - I went to a J in my last pregnancy.

Bravissimo still go up to a K cup in nursing bras. John Lewis stocked up to a L/M when I was fitted for a nursing bra and the fitter was really lovely.

Brasformums also gets the vote from me, great service there. I still wonder if I should train to be one of their mobile bra fitters!

I feel your pain. I was a 28J at 19 when I had the fuckers reduced on the NHS. There was no Bravissimo in those days!
When I was breast feeding I was a 32HH and got two bras from bravissimo. They didn't feel that big TBH in comparison to my teenage boobs on my size 8 frame.

Thanks everyone. I may pop down to Bravissimo next week to get measured. My slight number dyslexia makes me a little nervous about measuring myself. Once I know my size, I may order else where.

Last time round I did not get an underwired bra. I thought I was going to die. I am a firm believer that after a certain size and age wire is a must. This time round I am getting an underwire one. I actually like the H cup bra I have now, and I know the brand (recommended on another thread) goes larger, so will probably just reorder.

I'm hoping that unlike last time, my breasts size may reduce. If not, I am going to have to get them reduced. (The breast obsessed other half can cough up for that one) After my last pregnancy I went down to a dress size 12, so I ended up looking like a version of Jordan (did once share the same bra size). If I stay what ever size I am this time round, my back will give out.

Unnamed, I was a 24G at 16 on a size 8/10 frame. Not the same size, but I bet we got the same comments!

I had fittings at bravissimo throughout pregnancy second time round, so knew roughly what size I was, which helped with ordering on line. I was a 36k and managed to get some some bras in the sale from the NCT website, which was a bit of a bargain. Also tried the super size bravado one, but it was too big!

First time around I got measured in John Lewis, they stocked Royce bras up to an L cup.

These are all non wired, though. I never tried out wired ones.

M&S do a 36H nursing bra, which was ok once my boobs calmed down a bit.

I was probably a 24 back too when I was 16, but that would have been impossible to find! I was wearing a G cup at 16 too. I was so popular .
It's stupid starting girls bra's at 28. My DD is a tiny gymnast but just starting to grow one breast (just the one, so far ). I think her back is about 20 inches! Stupid bra people.
