If you could only wear one nail varnish this summer what would it be?

Looking for inspiration. I want to buy decent varnish but not have loads of bottles hanging around with only a bit used then left to go manky!

Another vote for Barry M's Gellys, the finish is so smooth and shiny and the colours are very summery!

Fluffycloudland77 · 22/04/2013 14:13

Super drugs doing Barry m gellys 3 for 2. I saw it earlier.

Decameron · 22/04/2013 14:26

Another vote for Dior Glow.

Ujjayi · 22/04/2013 14:42

HandsofaCrone - it is perfect. I got mine from the look fantastic website for £7.50 (free p&p). I saw an ad in last month's Vogue and fell instantly in love :)

Oh and the L'Oreal one I recommended is actually called Lush Tangerine. Again, not remotely neon - just a gorgeous warm sunshine-y orange.

HandsofaCrone · 22/04/2013 14:55

I bought it in Boots this morning Ujjayi Grin Now I'm going to have to resist taking off my current unchipped red to try it out!

Fluffy1234 · 22/04/2013 14:59

Orange or turquoise gel.

Pootles2010 · 22/04/2013 15:03

Ooh i like that Madison Ave Hue - I ended up getting Fiji but was really torn. V happy with Fiji though, will be wearing that a lot, as well as Perfect Housewife, also Essie.

elsie07 · 22/04/2013 17:44

Dior Bikini - the perfect muted coral.

BarbieDahl · 22/04/2013 17:48

I have a nice Essie nude shade called Brooch the subject

ScooseIsLooseOnTheLoopyJuice · 22/04/2013 18:15

Opi shorts story it's quite similar to that essie Madison ave-hue I love it

PlumSykes · 22/04/2013 18:33

Chanel Holiday.

paintyourbox · 22/04/2013 18:40

Essie Bond With Whomever is my current favourite, a lilac type colour that goes well on fingers or toes.

Newer Essies have a much better formula than the old ones Wafer, esp the ones they stock in Boots, which also have a brilliant wide, flat brush. Its almost comparable to OPI's formula now IMO, though you do still get the odd streaky dud.

ELR · 22/04/2013 22:24

Channel frenzy it's a really nice nude shade but its £18 so not cheap it does look nice on though and lasts ages.

StuntGirl · 22/04/2013 23:33

Anything in coral.

I currently have my winter nail polishes out but I can't wait to get some yellows and greens and oranges on :)

Allthingspretty · 23/04/2013 07:41

Why buy one when there are nound tp be freebies at some point from the magazines. I think uou can get a ciate one at the moment and next month a. Nails inc one

minibmw2010 · 23/04/2013 09:17

What is Essie? Who sells it please?

Pootles2010 · 23/04/2013 09:40

Are the boots ones better then plath? I always get mine from superdrug, 7.99 I think.

Plathism · 23/04/2013 11:18

Pootles I'm sure the Boots and the Superdrug Essies are exactly the same, though I haven't bought any in Superdrug (they're £7.99 in Boots too) - I just mean since they started stocking them on the high street the formula seems better. My older Essies have always been a bit streaky and have a thin rubbish brush.

Mini Essie is lovely nail polish brand, you can get them in Boots and Superdrug or on the internet :) They are famous for their pink and neutral colours, but they've got lots of other more exciting colours too.

Gertiegoolash · 23/04/2013 20:51

Essie Tart Deco, got it in this months glossybox, gorgeous coral thats nearly neon but not quite.

LadyBigtoes · 23/04/2013 20:59

I am wearing Essie not just a pretty face ATM on my toes, it's gorgeous. But I also love a darker pink/red one called swept off my feet - here. That would have to be my one and only for the summer.
