So, a few weeks ago we moved house. Two rooms are in the process of being renovated and this means that there isn't space to put up shoe racks or stack shoe boxes for my shoes I do have two empty chests which fit in my bedroom. If I used one chest for bulky boots/shoes and one for the more fragile shoes and wrapped them in pillowcases/shoe bags (if I can find enough cheaply), would they get damaged/squashed or is this a good idea? It is going to be an ongoing problem for a while as different parts of the house are renovated (tears hair out).
