Leather handbag repair - ideally in London

The metal 'd ring' on my favourite handbag strap has just snapped - annoyingly through me overloading it. It's a large very slouchy leather tan bag and looking around town yesterday it seems like it would cost well over 200 quid to buy anything similar. Does anyone know of any decent repair places? They would need to replace the metal part and to take two strap rivets out and put them back in again...

I did see a couple of places when I googled but wondered if anyone had personal experience.

Try a good shoe repair place? That's where I got a new strap on my leather briefcase
