Zatchels are having a 24 hour 50% off sale tomorrow. It's advertised on their Facebook page. I'm tempted but don't know whether to go for a classic colour (probably the navy) or one of the metallics. Has anyone ordered from them and could you recommend a colour? Thanks!

I really want a proper satchel to put my netbook in, but the saddle bag in pewter, and blue, and the barrel bag in daffodil want me to buy them.

On their website i cannot see a sale! Do i need a code?

Thanks for posting about this. Can anyone tell me if the buckles are proper fasten up buckles or are they on magnetic catches? I don't like having to unbuckle bags if I'm in a rush. TIA

They've said to order the gothic lace one and pay the postage then they will combine the two orders and refund me one of the postage amounts. I've gone ahead so am now getting four bags, three for me and one for my daughter. Sounds terribly extravagant but isn't really when you consider that huge saving and these bags will last a long time and even if I don't want them after a period of time, they have a good resell value on ebay.

Proper buckles but you can just loop the leather through without actually fastening it to save time and as the leather is so stiff to start with it is pretty secure.

Gone for a 14.5" red satchel with a handle. Excited

Bulletproof gerbil, I may be wrong but the satchel styles are buckle fastening and the bucket bags are magnetic.

How long are the confirmation emails taking?

My emails were instant. Got four, two paypal payment ones and two order ones from their customer service confirming order.

Can't decide between the executive: black/ brown/ tan or the normal satchel: distressed/ black/ brown. Does anyone have any of these colours, or know what the executive is like? Indecisive...

I am trying to decide if I'm too old for a satchel? 52? Young looking though. Was thinking classic red, navy or graphite. Mutton dressed as lamb?

I've just ordered another 2 - yikes! So a16" yellow satchel and a navy and chestnut large saddle. Hip hip!

13 inch is a great size . Can fit water bottle , tablet (in front pocket) purse umbrella . Love it . I have about 20 handbags and have only used my zatchel since I got it in january .

Thanks for this! I've been lusting after one for ages. For now I have a large saddle bag in elephant brown in my basket and dithering between 14.5" & 16" satchel, but what colour? Elephant blue or even green looks cool but then maybe red or brown would be better for work
