Please help me chose outfit for ladies day at races.

Ok, so this is not Ascot. Local races here in Scotland.

I am 42 and a size 16 on bottom with an 18 on top due to largish norks. 5ft 7 with dark hair, and green eyes.

I cannot get into the City - Edinburgh or Glasgow for shopping so need to rely on internet.

What do you think of the following:

suit

mink suit

or

black suit

or

completely different

I can't get dresses to fit. Skirts do nothing for me hence sticking with trousers.

The lighter shades would need cream tops and I have a selection of clutch bags and heels that would look ok.

The black suit would need something bright for top and shoes I think.

Plus some sort of thing attached to my head?

Any thoughts - thanks for looking.

hat to go with the pink suit?

The hat is quite pretty but a wear glasses so I am not sure I suit them. I will definitely keep it in mind incase a hat is a must.

The more I think about it the more comfortable I will be in the black. Dull I know but I have to be confident and comfortable.

I have a nude clutch and nude LK Bennett heels so I thin a nice bright top will be ok - do you?

After races we are going to dinner and drinks.
