I bought these today from M&Co - they are surprisingly comfortable. I also bought them in the Nude colour, as I wasn't sure which colour would go best with my outfit for this weekend. The black is definitely the way forward, but I LOVE the nude ones, they are really nice. I have absolutely no idea when I would wear them - I so rarely wear heels, so I can't justify keeping them can I?! They were £25 in store and although I am not utterly strapped, I am not exactly flush either..

I need to take them back don't I?! Seriously I wear proper heels about once a year!

haha im the same!
Keep them if you FORCE yourself to wear them lol or take back one pair?

AnonYonimousBird · 19/04/2013 16:24

I'll keep the black ones whatever, I need them for this weekend and black can go with so much.

But the Nudes are just lovely, I simply don't have any occasion coming up that I know of when I could wear them!!!!

Grrrrr.

Nudes will go with everything too AND make your legs look longer!

suebfg · 19/04/2013 16:34

They are lovely though ...

suebfg · 19/04/2013 16:36

My friend, who always looks great, buys things when she sees them rather than when she needs them. That way she always has something she can just pull out of her wardrobe ... unlike me who is always flapping round the shops at the last minute.

AlwaysOneMissing · 19/04/2013 16:38

I'm not overly keen on them tbh. But saying that, nude will go with so much, and if you keep them, I'll think you'll be glad of it. Definitely good for summer when black might seem a bit too harsh.

AnonYonimousBird · 19/04/2013 16:43

Always - they would normally just so not be my thing, I am very undressy and bling etc, but in reality they are actually lovely - smart without being OTT and quite party-ish. I surprised myself! If someone had described them I would have said bleugh, but as soon as I saw them I had to have them (which again is sooooo unlike me!).

Nude is good for summer, we have a few "dressy" parties coming up. I can't take them back until at least Tuesday, so I have a few days to decide!!!

Keep them. They are both classic styles which you will always be able to wear until you're in your 80s, so you will get wear out of them and you won't have to buy another pair of going out shoes ever!

valiumredhead · 19/04/2013 17:17

Also they are very reasonable !

BinksToEnlightenment · 19/04/2013 20:08

If you feel this passionately about them, you should not take them back. If you do, you'll spend the next six months thinking of all the things you could have worn them with and how all your other shoes just aren't as good.

freddiefrog · 19/04/2013 20:49

Keep them and force yourself to wear them

I bought some leopard print heels because they were reduced to £4 and it would have been rude not to and they've been lurking in my wardrobe ever since so I wore them on the school run today and didn't give a shit about what anyone thought!

FrugalFashionista · 19/04/2013 20:55

I've refound slingbacks this season after about a decade of dull ballet flats. I'm thoroughly enjoying mine and they are surprisingly comfy and much more flattering than flats - some variety is good Wink

piratecat · 19/04/2013 20:59

you'll be sorry if you take them back.

AlwaysOneMissing · 20/04/2013 08:03

You should definitely keep them!

Dolallytats · 20/04/2013 08:14

Keep them!! I saw a lovely pair of Jasper Conran heels several years ago and HAD to have them. I only wore them twice-I have only worn heels about 6 times in my whole life (39 and still can't walk in them, can't be bothered with the hassle of 'practising'!!). Sometimes you've just got to have something!!

TondelayoSchwarzkopf · 20/04/2013 12:49

Keep them. You should only ever buy things you love. It's the sensible 'well i dont love it but i should have it as its a staple' purchases that sit in my wardrobe unworn.

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 20/04/2013 14:34

keep keep keep Grin they will go with anything and if they are comfy then you WILL wear them a lot

AnonYonimousBird · 21/04/2013 10:05

Well, i was all for keeping them, you had me convinced. However, I wore the black pair last night, and although I did manage to wear them all evening, and I don't have blisters, I really barely moved around in them, not that much dancing, and my feet were KILLING me by the time to go home!

Ashoething · 21/04/2013 10:13

Keep them! You always need a pair of nude heels. They are good for weddings, summer parties etc. Heels hurt!-you just have to suffer it.

valiumredhead · 22/04/2013 10:25

You need Foot Silk spray! Fab stuff, I have just discovered it, it's like a primer for your feet!

AnonYonimousBird · 22/04/2013 16:21

Foot Silk Spray?! Cor, will check it out! Thanks!

OP posts:
valiumredhead · 22/04/2013 17:16

Found it in Tesco!

ICanTuckMyBoobsInMyPockets · 22/04/2013 17:32

I love foot silk spray, was really pleased that it actually worked and saves lots of blisters. If I'm wearing heels at all I always put some spray on.
