Post-children jeans, can't find any that fit

My youngest is nearly two and I've finally thrown out the maternity jeans!! But I simply can't find any jeans to fit since giving birth, my hips haven't expanded much but my tummy has! Can't wear high waisted jeans as they are too tight in the waist and I simply can't bend down in them! Lower rise jeans work better but gape at the back and fall off, or dig in where my c-section scar is.

Can anyone recommend a straight leg jean that is comfortable, not high waisted and doesn't fall down?

I'm afraid you might not like my idea... Go to M&S and try all their jeggings! THe stretch in the fabric should help with your tummy. The ones in Indigo collection works for me. They also have a new jeans shapewear style but I haven't tried it yet.

Never really worn jeggings, don't you always need to wear long tops to cover up wobbly thighs?!

However I will try them - just off to M&S now as it happens! Thanks.

Hey, the jeggings were almost perfect, solved all my problems, really comfortable and much more substantial fabric than I expected. Just a little skinny in the lower leg for me but I will still buy some I think!

Curvy fit jeans from Gap are a life saver.
