Opinions on these loafers please :-)

Clarks I want some flat tan shoes for spring. Thought something this style would be good alternative to ballet flats. I think they will look fine with trousers but not so sure about dresses/skirts.

Opinions?

I like shoes like that (but only with a tanned foot!). They're out of stock though. I've seen similar in Primark, albeit last year.

Am hoping they may be in stock in my local store but they are also showing in other online shops too. Failing that, please feel free to put forth any other recommendations :)

I like the fact that they have more of a structure to them than a lot of the loafer/moccasin type shoes that I have seen so far on this quest! Some of them seem to be so sloppy and as I already have wide feet I fear that sloppy shoes make them look even more ungainly!

That's weird - I'm about to put them a pair on eBay (brand new, unworn) - what size are you? They're lovely BTW but I decided that I have too many tan loafers already and can't justify another pair!

PS just checked and mine are size 8.

Ah - it was too good to be true! Hope you find them somewhere else.

This morning I tried on a pair of tan moccasins from Hush Puppies...they were £50 in Republic and supremely comfortable (had those lovely springy insoles). Am also a wide size 5.5/6, so tried on the 6, and they looked good I think.

I can't find them online though Think I'll have to nip back to town soon and get them, as will be perfect for spring.
