Lush bath bombs: I hate them!!

Mil gets them for dc. She means well, but omg I hate the damn thingsHmm

The ones that arrived recently were enormous. Enough for many bath; I assume you are supposed to break bits off.

So we had three humungous crumbling muticoloured Easter egg sized lumps in the bathroom. Where do you keep them? And the smell is enough to make you wheeze.

They immediatley disintergrated into piles of neon multicoloured sherbetty dust which is now all over the bathroom. I was worried it would stain the bath (and dc) strange colours.

I dont understand Lush..it all looks like its been knocked up at the local preschool.

Whats wrong with a nice bottle of Matey??Confused

Wow, this just doesn't happen at the one near me, they ask if they can help you then leave you alone if you say no thanks. I can't say I've noticed it this being this bad in other branches either.

I was given some lush bath bombs at Christmas one year. Looked forward to a nice long soak in the bath. It was like green fizzy bleugh. I couldn't lie in it for more than about 2mins. I just had to get out. No nice bubbles, just green fizzy water. Ugh! Such a waste of a tank full of hot water. The rest of the bombs went in the bin.
So after that I never bothered going into a lush shop until last month I was passing one with a friend who wanted to go in. A male assistant rushed over immediately, grabbed my hand and smeared cream after "miracle" cream on me. He was very persistent and would. not. let. go no matter how much I said I wasn't interested in what he was trying to sell me.Angry

I love Lush Grin

I bought a pink wand thing with a star 'dippy' bath bomb for DD and an apple bomb wrapped in a penguin cloth for DS (for their Christmas Eve Hamper) but I couldn't put it in the hamper or all the food would 'taste' .
For Easter they like Dragons Egg.

It's one of the only things that will woo my teen son into the bath....

I like some Lush stuff (eg the Snow Fairy shower gel and the comforter bubble bar) - but I have stopped going in as I like to have a wander around, look at things and mull over which to get UNPESTERED by assistants. Last time I went in I was schmoozed by 4 different assistants and in the end I put down what I was going to buy and left.

As to your original question though OP - when I have a bubble bar I store the unused bit in the original bag but you need to make sure it stays dry!
