What could I wear on my legs with this dress?

I can't find the actual one but its similar to this

I've just bought it but my legs aren't good enough to be on show. Could I wear it with leggings, tights? If so what colour? Or over skinny Jeans, would that work?

And what shoes?? I should have thought all this through before buying it really!

I was thinking for work, which is why I need something on my legs, it'd be indecent otherwise!
