Any recommendations for a good one? Easy to apply? Good coverage? Non-streaky?
Thank you!

MUA in Superdrug have a good range of polishes. I find them fantastic for the price, they chip at the same kind of rate as my more expensive ones. I know they have some paler colours in at the minute, not so sure about the shimmer though.

By pale do you mean flesh coloured/cream or just any pale colour?

cardamomginger · 15/04/2013 15:47

Yeah - flesh/cream coloured.

There's a No7 one that might be a good one for you if you want something flesh coloured, it's called So Simple. It's a slightly pink nude colour.

Essie Pink a Boo and She's Picture Perfect are both gorgeous with really great formulas.

And Essie Demure Vixen is lovely - looks really neutral (on light skin tones) but is a bit more interesting than pink or beige.

Ogooglebar · 15/04/2013 15:50

You won't want She's Picture Perfect then :)

cardamomginger · 15/04/2013 15:55

Thank you! Essie goes on easily? I've just tried a Marvala one - streaking to all hell.

Yes the Essie ones are really easy to apply - especially the new ones they have in Boots as they have a wide flat brush which is easier than the little round brushes that some polishes have. Most of them are non-streaky as long as you do two coats, though streakiness is always a problem with pale colours.

OPI You're a Doll has a great formula too. It might be discontinued but you can prob find it on eBay or Amazon.
