any ideas for shoes to wear with this dress?

I am buying this maternity dress for dinner out with friends in a fortnight. I never go out (sad) anywhere that requires getting remotely dressed up, and definitely need some new shoes.

I have seen these but wondered if anyone could think of some alternatives? I am 5' 3", size 8-10 pre pregnancy but have seriously piled on the weight in this pregnancy and am now looking a lot bigger (everywhere, not just bump!)

Thanks so far, should have said I cant do ankle straps as it makes me look v.stumpy, and I am not good in too-high heels. Any more suggestion?. Agree would like some that are not open-toe.
