Just that really.. i like the promises, but was wondering if they were worth it, haven't got any from Next and am open to anything that may help uplifting my derrière!

I bought the black skinny uplift ones a few months ago, and I don't really like them. They are ok on the waist and bum, nice and high waisted and do give a nice shape, but they are just not skinny enough in the leg, and go awfully baggy after a couple of hours. I much prefer m and s jeggings, especially the indigo ones. They never go baggy and are high waisted too. I'm a size 14-16, tall.

ah... i have some m&s jeggings which i like too, i'm a size 14 too, i was just hoping these would be good.
I was looking at the bootcut ones as i wanted something not quite so tight (claustrophobic legs) so perhaps worth a try.

The boot cut ones could be good, like I said I like the waist and the bum, just not the legs of the skinny ones. The denim is nice and thick and good quality, and I fit in a 14 in them which is always nice, as I'm a 16 in the jeggings.

I have the bootcut ones (size 14) and really like them. Also bought the slim leg ones but they are awful, too baggy.

Off to order them in the bootcut, fingers crossed they'll look ok! (and another pair to add to huge pile if not good..)

I have a theory that nobody can say to anyone else whether jeans are any good - beyond saying whether they stretch out massively or fall apart very quickly.

People are such different shapes - not just in waist and hips and leg length but in where your widest part is (it's probably nowhere near your hipbones) and how long your body is (waistband -> crotch) and what shape your calves are.

MadameBabawic · 15/04/2013 10:45

i quite agree with you Trills, thats why i'm going to try them out for myself!

I'm inclined to agree with Trills

My friend has the dark blue bootcut ones and the look lovely on her. I'm constantly admiring her bum Blush Grin

However my DM has exactly the same ones (and I'll bet they're the same size) and they look a bit rubbish. I don't know if they just suit a certain shape or what, DM looks lovely in other jeans. But they just don't do her any favours.
