Next Wide/Extra Wide footwear. What is the sizing like?

I have wide feet. There are some styles I can wear in a standard fit but for the most part I need wider fitting shoes.

I've seen sandals I love on the Next website but they are only available in Extra Wide.

Does anyone know what the sizing is like. Are extra wide really very wide?

ex wide are very wide. I need a wide, but the xwide are just too big for me

Thanks. That's a pity. The shape is perfect but they don't seem to have them in standard or wide.
