Can you please help me choose some colour for clothes from Kettlewell?

Which do you think will b the most versatile? I always seem to end up with greens. I want to build an autumn wardrobe, but can't afford to get many. I like the look of aubergine and think it might be good to tie colours together, but if you we're starting from scratch, then which colour would you start with?

Thank you.

Autumn wardrobe as in you're an Autumn from colour analysis, or autumn wardrobe as in the season before winter?

I'm an autumn and the basic colours of my wardrobe, in kettlewell terms, are:
soft white
lizard grey (not the most versatile though)
vibrant orange
poppy
aubergine
chocolate
deep teal
peacock

If you want to do a 'colour' (i.e. not brown) which works as a basic,, I'd go for deep teal or aubergine, or lizard grey if you have softer colouring.

Thank you!

I mean autumn from (self) analysis- I can't afford to get them properly done yet.

I love the way the colours are divided, but was looking for the most versatile colour as a starting point for my wardrobe (which, at the best of time, has no theme and something I want to do something about). I don't want to go through the brown route, as although I think people look good in it, I don't feel my best wearing it.

I might start with aubergine, but that's maybe too dark for summer... Yet with young children, that might be wise. Do you thing is would go with greens, or other colours better.

Sorry if these are really basic questions, I have no eye for colour and struggle with seeing how things go together. Smile
