Anybody tried these hair extensions from Boots?

I've been toying with the idea of getting some clip-in hair extensions, not for everyday use, just now & then.

I've come across these on the Boots website.

www.boots.com/en/Beauty/Hair/Hair-Accessories/Hair-Extensions/

If anyone has them can you tell me what they are like? I have darkish brown hair and its just past my shoulders so kinda long but not long enough for my liking! Do they look real enough or are they very obvious?

If not these, can anyone recommend anywhere else I could get some, that won't cost £££!!!

I wouldn't bother with anything synthetic, even if they say "styleable". They melt under heat, stretch when you brush them etc - like doll hair basically. And the difference in texture is quite obvious, although I suppose how obvious depends on the quality of the extensions.

I've always got real hair extensions from ebay. They can be very expensive, but you can get decent-ish cheap ones and make them look better than expensive synthetic ones because you can dye them, style them with heat, condition them etc. How real they look is largely about how you clip them in and style them.

These for example. You can get them even cheaper if you order from Hong Kong/China but they can take ages to come and if they weren't right returning them would be a nightmare.

The babyliss ones are rubbish. People used to try and return them after the had melted them with straighteners. Although they say style able, the info leaflet says not to be exposed to head.
We also couldn't accept returns if they were the wrong colour, and we could not reimburse for ruined straighteners either! (Used to work in boots!)

I must admit I've never ordered from here but I've had it bookmarked for ages because the prices seemed reasonable and lots of choice. May be worth a look?
