Good quality, fitted, cotton (with some stretch), deep scoop neck t-shirts. Do they exist?

Not see-through/ thin fabric
Won't lose its shape
Proper deep scoop neck, not some half-hearted neckline

Does it exist? And where?

Thanks!

Tesco

Uniqulo

moonstorm · 12/04/2013 16:51

I found this but the scoop isn't deep enough, maybe there might be something in store, but our clothing section is quite small.

For fitted scoops, check out Kettlewell - comes in something like 30 colours! I've bought quite a few Kettlewell tops and they wear really well...

mybelovedmonster · 12/04/2013 17:00

I've had some good ones from White Company recently.

AuntieMaggie · 12/04/2013 17:02

I just got a couple in H&M

mybelovedmonster · 12/04/2013 17:02

Sorry, not white company, whoops. I've forgotten what they're called - I will check

moonstorm · 12/04/2013 17:06

Was just this second browsing Ketlewell to get some colour ideas!

Will look again in H&M, didn't see anywhere the other day. I've normally found stuff in Dorothy Perkins, but the fabrics seem thinner this year.

Thanks again.

Another vote for Tesco !

PotteringAlong · 12/04/2013 17:20

Gap?

moonstorm · 12/04/2013 17:25

Gap material tends to be quite thin, and doesn't hold its shape well. I bought a great top from Matalan that lasted for years with almost no sign of ageing. I'm hoping to find that sort of top again, but nothing seems mad to last.

I find Vero Moda very good for this type of T-shirt, although the coloured ones seem to be better quality than the white ones for some reason.

Tesco

hedgefund · 12/04/2013 19:18

i have a lovely one from mango, not sure if they've done them again this year though

hedgefund · 12/04/2013 19:21

\link{http://shop.mango.com/ficha.faces?state=she_006_IN\here} if it's the same it is really fab, thick material and keeps you held in iykwim

ToomuchWaternotWine · 12/04/2013 19:24

Will watch with Interest as am looking for similar, or v neck. I am 5' 8" tall, large boobs on a medium frame, and don't want tents or to show my belly button. I have a long pelvic bone so big gap between waist/hips and crotch so struggle to find tops that don't cut me in half in an unflattering way.

Barbie1 · 12/04/2013 19:26

Depending on how much you want to spend check out j crew or LNA.

moonstorm · 12/04/2013 19:32

I can't open the Mango link, but that held in feeling sounds like what I'm after.

I have a long body as well, and big boobs. Less of a scoop neck looks like I'm trying to be too modest. I need a deep scoop so as not to look too frumpy!

I have Tesco OK new but wear them as vests as the scoop encompasses my shoulders.
Boden are brilliant for this basic and worth the price....obvious lay with discount of minimum 20%.

thebestpossibletaste · 12/04/2013 21:51

Watching with interest. I used to buy Dorothy Perkins tshirts but these days not so keen. I've just ordered a top and skirt from Kettlewell.

lustybusty · 14/04/2013 16:25

For any tall/long bodied ladies, long tall sally do a satin trim scoop neck tshirt in a variety of colours. I am 5ft11, 38hh of boob (for context!!) and the XL is a loose good fit and the L is a bit tighter (obviously!) and lengthwise they sit across my hips. £20 each, but I've had a couple that I've had about 3yrs and have held shape wonderfully!!
