Right I have booked a holiday and need bikinis to channel my inner Helen Mirren

I am 53 and wore a bikini for the first time 2 years ago.

But cast out all my summer clothes last year, vowing never to go on holiday again.
However we have just booked a week away Blush

i am a 34F so need something supportive and a 14 bottom, and would like big pants style. Nothing skimpy. I'm 6 feet tall and slim except for my stomach, but hopefully with jilliam Michael's help, that will be better by August.

Wll get to House of Fraser next week and have a good try on. i want to get things early, then I'm not scrabbling around in July looking for everything.

And am rejoining the gym tomorrow.

And also by your choice of husband. I see he is smart enough to stay out of matters, such as women's swimwear, on which he is not an expert Wink. My husband has that same skill and its one of the secrets of our happy marriage .

Body pump has done nothing for my flabby tum. Maybe I'm doing it wrong .

jillian michaels 6 week 6 pack is excellent for toning your stomach(and arms), although you are meant to do it 5 times a week. It's about 40 mins long.

I used to do loads of body pump, but now do jillian micheals with 4/5 lb weights

I left the gym in December as it was too far to go, but have realised despite Jillian Michael's DVDs which I do 4 times a week, I need more cardio and weights.
Eating sensibly too...I eat too much bread (with butter).

Ladies I am on a mission.

I'm watching this with interest. I'm a 36F and a 16/14 bottom. I've lost 24lbs since Jan and aim to lose more.

Like the OP I have NEVER worn a bikini as my stomach is bleurrgh. I read on here recently though that it is only British women who cower on the beach in swimsuits and it makes us look worse. The penny dropped and I really want to do the bikini this year but need it to look decent. However I cannot be arsed with ordering online and returning. I live in London so there must be lots of places I can try on with good advice.

I'm also ghostly white and don't go brown but that's another story

Exercise - I'd love to but I have 3 kids under 6, and my DH works away a lot. HOW does anyone manage it in this situation? And please don't tell me to run with the pushchair I would look like a prize arse.

Debenhams have millions at the moment. Lots with proper cups sizes and a couple of different bottom styles and even matching cover ups.

I quite like nautical style...

Weakatthecheese...I am ghostly white as well.
Exercise....do you work when they are at school?
I can recommend the Jillian Michael's shred DVD...20 minutes. You could do it when they're in bed.

cheese - you are right, it is tough, I did nothing at that stage, yet was slimmer because i nevr got to sit down!
