What skincare/make-up have you worn and been complimented when wearing it?

If that makes sense. Lots of products feel nice on or we think we look nicer for wearing them, but what ones have you tried where you've then had compliments from people?

I've had them when wearing:

• Max Factors Stretch mascara (obv about how long my lashes were) - don't even know if they still make it (I was 16, a LONG time ago)
• And length of lashes after using Rapidlash serum.

Anyone else? Reason for asking is I have Boots vouchers and want to buy some new recommended products that I don't need

No7 BB cream has really made my skin look great and people comment all the time. And I am getting on a bit !

I use the Loccitane Divine cream and have had tons of compliments .
If I add up al the things I bought for a tenner and binned it doesnt seem so expensive.

I only really wear nail varnish. Everyone seems to like a new one and keeps asking me what it is, Barry M 'Prickly Pear', a pastel lilac.

I got a lovely freebie with my last order .I use every last scrap out of the jar and it lasted about 3 months . I can honestly say I have never had so many compliments on my skin and a couple of "How old ?- you are kidding"type remarks

Just started using la Roche posey skincare after reading about it in here and skin looks better already

That's quite a few bb creams to try then. I tried a sample of the new loreal cc cream and thought it was awful - I looked very very orange so won't be bothering to try anymore of those.

Another one for Smashbox primer here. I can't see any difference when I wear it, but last time I used it for a night out I was told that my skin looked amazing and like alabaster. My skin really doesn't look like that without make up and I don't get those compliments when I'm just wearing foundation, so it must have been the primer.
