Having a party this weekend and have put off the horrendous task of clothing until now. I'm realistically a size 16 and have a tummy larger than my boobs Sad and have a new baby so will need to be able to breastfeed during the party. Any top tips out there. Usually just scull around in combats or jeans so out of my comfort zone!

As a fellow apple who puts off party clothes shopping I feel your pain!
Could you try a pair of tailored trousers or jeggings if you prefer with a nice tunic style top with a wee bit of sparkle around the neckline?
I notice Matalan have some nice reasonable priced smart clothes in a range of sizes.

You could get one of those butterfly breastfeeding covers (on eBay if you can't find one) then as an outfit, you could try a nice loose top over a nursing. strap top. that you can
unclip to feed with (pull loose top up)
then which ever bottoms look nicest or are most comfortable. Smile have fun!!

Also I find that a "two piece" top with lightweight smart waistcoat or cardigan to match is good as it drapes over my tummy. I have bought some of these in Matalan.

Thank you for your quick replies, I will look into the suggestions. I hate shopping for me and also don't live near big shops so its so difficult to tell online just how things will look. I'm not shy about breastfeeding but it does restrict from a long dress if the top isnt stretchy. I just am very paranoid about the fact I still look quite pregnant, but it is family and friends so they shouldn't be judging me.

Wrap over style jersey dress and spanx? Stretchy enough for comfort /feeding, drapes over tummy but still dressy enough for a party.

Hate breast feeding covers with a vengeance.

Did you use bump bands in pregnancy? Wear one of these and a Normal top over. Just lift your top to feed, the band will keep your stomach covered. You can also get some vests that come under your breasts that do the same thing.

I found it more easy to be discreet when lifting the upper top up than when trying to feed through holes in breast feeding tops of than by unbuttoning and pulling the top down.
