What to wear for big night out at Ronnie Scotts?

Never been, going with DH in a couple of weeks. What should I wear?

Went last year and all the women were wearing dress and strappy sandals (not very high as people were dancing) and lots of Lippy and kohled eyes. Everyone looked pretty smart - didn't see much jeans and a nice top which is what I usually see when I go out.

Do you think black trousers and a nice top would work? We are going to the early show, for dining and show, don't think it has dancing (and DH wouldn't anyway!).

Sounds perfect . It was a female singer and the house band playing when I went. Think she was called Coco something, lovely voice..

Great. I had a quick look at lunchtime for a dressy top, but everything is summery and sleeveless. Has anyone seen any with long or elbow length sleeves? No patterns!
