Can I cover first greys with blonde temporary dye?

I'm a total novice at hair dye but I had this idea! I am a dark brunette and I have some greys coming in at my temples. I love my natural colour and want to keep it as long as I can. Just now I use a brown hair mascara to cover them but thinking longer term eventually that won't be a practical solution!

So was thinking, can I use a blonde temporary dye to cover the greys? so it looks like natural highlights :o anyone tried this?

I would stay away from experimental dye activities tbh as they so often end in tears.

It wouldn't cost a lot to go and have a few salon highlights around the grey areas if you were unhappy with going grey naturally.
