Have I made a mistake buying these shoes?

www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDRINA-KG-KURT-GEIGER-SYNTHETIC-RED-WOMENS-LADIES-SHOE-/380578997494?_trksid=p5197.m1992&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D14%26meid%3D6731857766726949916%26pid%3D100015%26prg%3D1006%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D380578997494%26

I was so confident about ordering them and I was going to put them with skinny jeans with the ankles rolled up and either a goldy-beigey off the shoulder top or my scoopneck pale grey top.

Now I have buyers remorse and think I'll look a twat.

Oooh, they are nice.

Charliefox · 04/04/2013 21:47

No, they're lovely. You'll look a treat.

Envy

That is all.

invicta · 04/04/2013 21:51

They're lovely!

Celticlassie · 04/04/2013 21:52

I like them. But I never wear my red shoes, so I'm maybe the wrong person to advise!

MissyMooandherBeaverofSteel · 04/04/2013 21:54

They will look awful, send them to me and I'll dispose of them for you Grin

PretzelTime · 04/04/2013 22:04

Depends, can you walk in that type of shoe?
Me I stumble wearing flats.

Fluffycloudland77 · 04/04/2013 22:17

Yes, I'll be able to walk in them...with the aid of petroleum jelly on the tops of my toes to stop blisters and antiperspirant on my feet to stop sweating and maybe some poron cut to size to prevent soreness underneath.

I'm a podiatrist so I won't be tripping round in them all day. It's MBTs for work!.

Poron, pricey but would last a normal person years.

Thanks for not telling me I'll look a knob.

They arrived and I luff them.

There's a few marks on them if you look up close but when wearing them you wouldn't know.

They look absolutely beautiful, BUT they are synthetic. Doesn't that bother you, as a podiatrist? I feel mean asking that, but won't that make them "hard" on your feet? I always thought it would. I hope not, as they are siren shoes and I do hope you enjoy wearing them.

Fluffycloudland77 · 05/04/2013 22:32

No, it's only for evening wear or visiting family.

My work trainers fit well and it's flat shoes and sandals the rest of the time.

I wouldn't choose a shoe like that for everyday wear. I knew a pod who did wear heels for work, you can't advise patients to wear nice sensible shoes if you wear 3" heels.

CocoNutter · 05/04/2013 22:36

I think they're lovely.

freerangeeggs · 05/04/2013 22:37

I think they're really nice.

Also, that poron stuff - are you saying that if I put that in my shoes I won't get sore feet when I wear high heels?? And petroleum jelly, you say...

Fluffycloudland77 · 05/04/2013 22:41

Not as sore. Still a bit sore.

If I was rich I'd have collagen injected into the balls of my feet, it can be done from what I've heard.
