Those of you natural blondes who colour thier hair...

Is it worth it? Or is it just a waste of time?

I'm resigned ot having a restyle on the hair and getting it done short - but am also toying with the idea of some colour to brighten up my blonde which is getting a little dull and tired. I can't sit in the sun and sun bleach it as I get such bad sunstroke 10 minutes without a hat and I've got a migraine coming on. So as a result my blonde doesn't benefit from its usual summer bleach it iused to get. (This is what having babies has done to me!!)

Anyway back tot the point - is it going to mean I have to go back and get it recoloured every few weeks etc? And is it going to be stupidly expensive? Never ever coloured my hair and am wondering if I should.

why not go for hilights or lowlights instead of an all over colour
to give your hair some body

if i was you,dont!
i have naturally blonde hair and from the age of 16 ive been dying it.ive been just about every colour going, and guess what colour i am now?blonde!but out of a bottle as my natural colour went brown from colouring it.even when i left it to grow out,it came back light brown.colouring my hair has ruined it,and now i spend £45 every 6 weeks to go the colour i was born!

Colouring your hair doesn't change the colour that it will grow back as - that's age! I was a natural blonde when I was 16, am now naturally brown. Getting older makes your hair darker, not lightening it.
