A good fashion mag for a trendy 40 year old?

Are there any on the market? Yes I'm 40, but petite and dress slightly younger (cropped hair, Michelle Williams style). Are there any decent fashion mags out there that I could get some new inspiration from?

I like Grazia - lots of ideas including lots of high street stuff. I also like In Style every now and then but the clothes are £££££££££££££.

Does Red count as a fashion magazine? I'd say it's targeted at the trendy 30+ woman

SparklyStream · 03/04/2013 21:33

Is Red a catalogue?

I like In Style too, But you're right about the cost of the clothes in there.

I used to like InStyle but they keep trying to do 'articles' when all I want to look at clothes, shoes and jewellery, AND THAT IS ALL. I'll read other magazines if I want to read articles!

It depends if you are actually looking for inspiration for affordable buys or just enjoy fashion mags. I really like Harpers Bazaar magazine.

Grazia and In Style

polyhymnia · 03/04/2013 22:36

Grazia.
I also like Red. Think it's aimed at 40s or so. I'm older but don't lIke the mags aimed at my age group eg Woman and Home.

pickledsiblings · 03/04/2013 22:49

Don't bother buying a mag, just go on Pinterest or read/follow some fashion blogs.

SparklyStream · 04/04/2013 11:32

Are there any fashion blogs you'd recommend? The only one I've heard of is 'today I'm wearing', or something similar. Apologies for the ignorance ladies, I'm emerging from a 5-year period of nappies, breast pads, not much sleep etc etc....

'Does my bum look 40 in this' is good.
You sound like me, but am a little older (ahem 45) , love clothes, but Have been pregnant or Breastfeeding for the last five years!
