mine are a rather funky turquoise
or as a wee girl at preschool said - urgh! why are your nails all green? are you sick?

euw

haven't had my first pedicure of 2006 yet

but when i do they'll be pale pink 'til i get atan - then orangey-pink

jayjaybaby · 11/05/2006 13:52

lorina · 11/05/2006 14:03

hot gossip by rimmel. Its bright red and very gorgeous. I borrowed it off dd she's got hundreds!

Harpsichordcarrier · 11/05/2006 14:35

I am not sure how a french manicure works on your feet actually
if your toenails are that long, don't they poke through your tights?

Clear gloss
Makes feet look really clean

Tatties · 11/05/2006 14:39

Mine are pale irridescent pink, albeit a bit chipped. Time to redo them I think.

Sorry ComeOveneer but French manicure on toes seems wrong to me somehow. Think it's possibly because I cant bear long toenails. They have to be very short.

lahdeedah · 11/05/2006 14:43

dark red

bit like Chanel Rouge Noir only it's Rimmel cos I'm skint... (it's the one with Lycra in, quite good actually, lasts ages without chipping)

btw you don't need really long nails to do french manicure, I always have short nails and had it done for my wedding - it looked fab

yeahinaminute · 11/05/2006 14:50

Sort of lilacy pinkish effort - but on closer inspection I must have done it with my eyes closed as it's not strictly just on my toenails - more - "what colour are your toenails and most of the skin around" .... EEK must take off and re-apply when I get home from work before running the gauntlet of the yummy mummies when I get DD from pre - school !! Grin

melrose · 11/05/2006 14:53

shimmery purple

fruitful · 11/05/2006 14:58

Blue. But I'm not wearing nailvarnish. The thermometer next to the pc says its 23C in here. I think I have poor circulation.

And darn it, I want some Smarties now.

beachyhead · 11/05/2006 14:58

deep sluttish red

dinosaure · 11/05/2006 15:01

Frosted Pink

serenity · 11/05/2006 15:05

Black,

and that is nail varnush, not dirt.

Saggarmakersbottomknocker · 11/05/2006 15:08

Very dark pink - doing my best to detract from the fact that the rest of my feet are bloody awful.

I need help with them. Recommendations for getting rid of a huge amount of hard skin and two massive verrucae most welcome.

Harpsichordcarrier · 11/05/2006 15:14

ah now I can help you with the verrucas...
the only thing I can recommend is something anything really to kill them off (Bazooka or I soaked mine in formalyn solution from the pharmacy) AND - this is the crucial bit - scraping away the dead sking every day unil it all goes
or get someone to do it for you if you can't reach
NOTHING else worked for me and believe me I tried anything. I was on the waiting list for surgery even...

ixel · 11/05/2006 15:14

Black

sharklet · 11/05/2006 15:15

A very dark sparkly pink.

hoxtonchick · 11/05/2006 15:16

rouge noir

Saggarmakersbottomknocker · 11/05/2006 15:20

Tried the bazooka - not the formalyn though - do I just ask for that over the counter? I'm scraping them at the moment. One of them is the size of a ten pence piece - actually I think it's probably several all merging into one.....TMI Yuk!!

Harpsichordcarrier · 11/05/2006 15:22

yes I had a massive patch of them - too many to count
you have to persist I'm afraid
you can get formalyn over the counter in the pharmacist - can't remember the solution

OP posts:
Saggarmakersbottomknocker · 11/05/2006 15:24

Ta Harpsi - I'm desperate to be rid of them but I think a chiropodist would ask for danger money, so I must persist with it myself.

Harpsichordcarrier · 11/05/2006 15:27

you must do it every day though, don't waver even if it starts to hurt Sad
can't you get dp/dh to do it? labour of love and all that

OP posts:
Saggarmakersbottomknocker · 11/05/2006 15:32

He'd rather stump up the money for the chiropodist than mess with my feet!! Grin.

cupcakes · 11/05/2006 15:38

nothing - but they are trimmed and looking lovely and clean. I find clear varnish makes them look yellow after a few days.

beety · 11/05/2006 16:02

my toenails are still a bit picked..Blush..i just cannot ressit but WILL STOP NOW as summer is near!
