Salon sold me Macademia Oil for my hair. It's too late now of course, but I want your opinions.

Is it any good?

Am I going to look like the girl off The Ring, shlepping out of a well?

It'll be good but I bet you paid loads more than necessary as it was from the salon.

I love hair oils :)

£6.80 for 10ml?

10mls? That must be a minute bottle! Grin

Mythic Oil and Extraordinary Oil both by L'Oreal are fantastic on my hair, I prefer them to Argan oil. It's a bit trial and error as to which one suits you. The Argan oil I used last year was £30 in my salon and on Amazon it was a tenner so worth having a quick google ime.

yup, it's tiny, i'll probably lose it before i finish it. Grin

I use the Maca oil and I like it. I have very dry big wavy hair ( attractive eh?). I find it works best if I leave my hair for about 10-15 mins after washing it before putting it on my hair. For some reason it makes my hair more shiny and silky that way.

I have the Argan oil but I don't think it is as good.

i don't really have dry hair. but am trying to grow it to be lovely and long.

Mmm does it help healthy growth?

nevergoogle · 03/04/2013 21:26

no, i think she meant it would keep my hair in good condition while i'm growing it.

It does - well it does for me. Not spotted a split end for yonks.

nevergoogle · 03/04/2013 22:33

excellent, that's the effect i'm hoping for.

I buy Macademia nut hair oil from Amazon and my kids use it too. Lovely stuff & it smells amazing!

SavoyCabbage · 03/04/2013 22:37

I use macadamia nut oil on one of my dd's hair and Moroccan oil on the other one. It isn't as heavy as the Moroccan one.

its nice but use it sparingly or you will look greasy
