Babyliss big hair - which products to use?

Just bought Babyliss big hair, I like it, easy to use etc but the curls/flicks have dropped out by time I've finished using it? I have long hair past my shoulders and not used any product with it so far. Any ideas please?

I spray my hair with a Tresemme heat protector, then put some mousse through, concentrating it at the roots, not on the ends. Then when it's all dry, I give it a good blast of Elnett.

I think it depends a bit on how well your hair holds a curl; I've got naturally curly hair, but the BBH tends to straighten it out.
