Which cotton wool pads do you love?

I love a good cotton wool pad -ones that had sectioned bits like lines through them to stop them breaking apart.

I was in Tesco yesterday and they only had the small ones which I hate it made me realise I am a bit fussy about cotton wool pads so which ones do you love.

I don't have any at the moment and need to go shopping when the crowds disperse.

I like ones that are round and cheap ( in other words, I don't give a toss). Sorry.

I prefer the big oval ones

Mrsrobertduvall · 31/03/2013 15:45

Whatever is on offer.

MooMinCow · 31/03/2013 15:46

Aldi ones are fab. 2 packs for 99p!

Trills · 31/03/2013 15:49

I have never noticed cotton wool pads being different to one another.

chocolatespiders · 31/03/2013 18:19

Some fall apart when you use them to take cleanser off..

They always seem to cheaper with the baby range rather than the ones near the beauty range.

Will try the Aldi ones at that price.

I've never noticed a difference

The Aldi ones are the absolute best. Thick and don't fall apart no matter how wet they get. I go to Aldi just for these and their baby wipes.

Kleenex do boxes of pad things which are good but I will only buy them on special offer. Otherwise, I just buy the Boots ones - can't say I've ever thought much about it tbh.

None. I love people instead.

I don't care as long as they don't scratch my face.

Currently using Tesco cheapest @ 45p for 100.

I don't use cotton wool pads because they leave fibrey bits.
But for value- Liz Earle cloths (the ones you get with Cleanse & Polish) are brilliant. Wash and keep going.

I've recently got a cloth with some Simply Beautiful Cosmetics and it's like those spongey kitchen cloths so I haven't machine washed it yet.

For nails- DD had a tub that you put your finger in and twizzle.
I use OPI nail 'neats'. No fluff.
