Crocs!

Am I the only person wearing Crocs this summer? They are basically grown-up jelly shoes, or rubber clogs. Look a bit daft, but they are SO comfy! Honestly, once you've tried a pair on you won't be wearing anything else.

Sweetmonkey - I had them when I was a child - my mum sent for them through Woman magazine and I had the hideous plastic basket thing to match.

sweetmonkey · 15/05/2006 10:32

i was talking to my friend about them the other night though and not sure how comfy they are gonna be as when we were kids we could wear anything but we think these might rub more now we are older and our feet prob get sweatier than kids (sorry if tmi) so we shall see. i only got them to relive my youth

sweetmonkey · 15/05/2006 10:33

ha ha yeah i think i had a basket too.

primark had loads of different styles . ones with a tbar and stuff which just looked strange.

anniemac, I find them a bit clumpy tbh, but I do like t bars.
I bought \link{http://www.jonesbootmaker.com/ebusiness1/store/product_details.jsp?pid=24991&cid=154&brc=&red=product_list.jsp?id=154,\these} on saturday, really comfy and look lovely (with nice manicured toe nails of course)
what do you think?

oh good, glad you like them too! Have worn them and they are comfortable, not too high, and very flattering. They also go with everyting, trousers, skirts, any colour. fab!

hehe......
I did take the precaution of buying dd two pairs of shoes before I got these [saintly emoticon]

You would get a lot of wear out of these, they go with everything, and they are pretty, that's enough reasons to get them Wink

and men don't need as many pairs of shoes as women of course.......

Fimbo · 15/05/2006 12:42

OOh I like those Frenchgirl, hmm, how many pairs of shoes can a gal have? I have loads but would like just the one pair as you said that goes with everything - well that is me persuaded then, don't know what dh will say though! Grin.

Annie like the t-bar but not the rest of the shoe - sorry Blush

controlfreaky · 15/05/2006 12:48

those crocs things are v v ugly and vile. why would you want to wear plastic on your feet... and even if you did in that hideous style? did i mention i dont like them?

Frenchgirl · 15/05/2006 12:49

Fimbo, it is a very persuasive argument!!! and they are so lovely...... go on go on go on
