Can I wear socks with pumps?

I have bought some new pumps for Sping but am not quite ready to brave bare feet yet? Will I look daft if I wear them with socks? Blush

Yes popsocks have to be the answer. Have just bought some 10 denier matt v nude coloured ones frm M and S so hope they'll work till it's warm enough to wear my various ballerinas with bare feet.
