Shoes / accessories for a maroon black tie outfit

Very excited - off to a black tie dinner next month and my lovely maroon outfit - silky top with v. long slightly fish-tail shaped skirt actually fits and looks nice :)

But I have no shoes or bag. Any recommendations? I was thinking, for fun, leopard print or metallic gold / bronze. I have odd feet so need something with a strap - i.e. mary jane style.

What about Irregular Choice in Gold, also comes in a higher heel, or maroon?

Oooh Mortified those second pair are fab! The first are lovely too but don't scream black tie to me.

And yes, I am a shortarse so height is good, but not those stilts-masquarading-as-shoes you see in the shops.

I found these sparkly gold numbers on the same site, which I like. Might be a bit much though.

Irregular Choice are very comfortable and very generously sized IMHO.

I am a size 3 or 3.5 normally, will maybe order a 3 to start with.
