I have £150 to spend on myself - what should I buy?

My DH and I are treating ourselves with some money we have unexpectedly had come available.

We have £150 each, but I don't have to spend it all if I like something cheaper.

I would like something lovely that I can use and keep for a long time. I have thought of a bag, jewellery, scarf, sunglasses, but just can't find anything that I think I could use for a while and be something 'special'.

I do like good quality designers/brands. My taste is feminine but with a bit of an edge, and I do like to keep up with current trends. I am very early 30s.
Help!

I love them MrsDoomsPatterson they are very durable, 2 x dc's have not yet broken them and they're worn every day.. very lightweight too which means you can also run or do sport in them... ;)

Well done AlwaysOneMissing, report back!

I would not e able to resist another McQueen skull scarf. It'll lat for years and looks just right with the plainest outfit.

AlwaysOneMissing · 28/03/2013 19:42

Yes you are right property, one can really complete an outfit. I'll see how I like the bag, then revisit these suggestions if I decide against keeping it. I wish I could have most of the things mentioned on here!

buy a classic cashmere cardi in your favourite colour. Brora have a spring sale on but v expensive. Try Pure cashmere.
Seriously, they are fab and never date. Some of mine are years old and still good.

madammecholet · 29/03/2013 08:18

I've always fancied a cashmere cardi, but do they bobble FreshLeticia?

AlwaysOneMissing · 29/03/2013 10:14

Is cashmere practical with young DC Fresh, is it hand wash only?

Just to update you all, I ordered the Georgia, but I returned it.

It was smaller in the flesh than I thought, and although it was beautiful leather and good quality, it was just a bit... boring Blush

So I am still looking!
Looking back over the suggestions made on this thread, I think the Versace scarf is the favourite so far.

But any more suggestions will be considered!

Why don't you buy your self some artwork - a painting or limited edition print?

Or a traditional charm bracelet?

Gold chain?

Thank you so much for the suggestions. I can't really go over budget of £150, so some of these are a little too expensive unfortunately.

I will keep looking though! Its great to get an idea of what other people would choose, it gives me ideas which I may not have thought of myself.
