Nice smelling hair products

My hair is very thick and fairly dry so I'm fortunate to get about 3 days out of it after blow drying, but it does seem to absorb smells. The dry shampoos don't seem to be the answer to freshening it up, I wondered if anyone could recommend shampoos or products that have a long lasting smell?

I find that new L'Oreal hair oil to be quite strong smelling, can't remember it's name. Should think it'd work well on your thick dry hair too. Only use a couple of drops though.
