If you found a dress you REALLY LIKED

As you all know, I don't do clothes and make up and shit.

But I have been making an effort for the last couple of weeks and so far all is going good.

However I bought a dress in the Tesco sale. It was reduced to £7 and it looks bloody amazing. I look fantastic in it, curvy, not fat, and it makes me feel great.

So, if you were me, would you go back and buy the same dress in a different colour and even another one the same?

Today I am wearing it with thick opaques and boots. AND I have make up on and my hair is done Grin

Yes...yes I would! It is a hard thing to find...the perfect dress/item of clothing! Go back and get as many as you fancySmile

Pseudonymity · 25/03/2013 10:36

Yes, but think about if you really like the other colours. Sometimes it's better to get the same colour.

freddiemisagreatshag · 25/03/2013 10:37

And if you all promise not to laugh I will put a pic on my profile. But to do that I have to

a - figure out how to do a profile
b - enter the 15 year old's bedroom. she's the only one with a full length mirror. so you have to ignore the shit on the floor as well.

Right. I think if you click my profile you can see the shit tip of a bedroom plus the dress.
Promise me if I look crap and am deluding myself you'll tell me?

I think I might have to go and raid Tesco!

Yup, great dress.

ginmakesitallok · 25/03/2013 10:54

Lovely dress

freddiemisagreatshag · 25/03/2013 10:55

It's in the reduced to clear bit in my Tescos. It's a very fine knit. Was £20 iirc down to £7

I think it's fab.

CatelynStark · 25/03/2013 10:56

It's really nice! Go back and get one in every colour!

freddiemisagreatshag · 25/03/2013 10:57

I'm a 14 btw to give a sense of scale, for want of a better phrase lol

Great dress!

freddiemisagreatshag · 25/03/2013 10:58

Phew Grin and I have a very wobbly tummy but you just don't see it in that dress

That is a very flattering dress or you have an amazing figure (or both!) - and at £7, absolutely go back and get more - even if you don't wear them for the mo and keep them (as I'm afraid to say, my cheaper wooly dresses don't always wash well)

My two favourite dresses/that everyone always ask where I bought them from are both from Tesco!

Eliza22 · 25/03/2013 11:04

Yes. Go buy in SEVERAL colours, at that price, if they make you feel fab!

freddiemisagreatshag · 25/03/2013 11:05

I really DON'T have an amazing figure - that's what makes me so pleased with the dress.

I wouldn't be devastated if it didn't wash well at £7 but I would because it looks so blardy amazing. Does that make sense?

I am also 45. I never wear figure hugging stuff I live in baggy jumpers. And ill-fitting jeans and trackies.

I think that might have to change if I can get more like this dress!

JennySense · 25/03/2013 11:09

Bargaintastic! Go for it, I have alos bought more than one of something if I've loved it so much x

readyforno2 · 25/03/2013 11:10

What a great figure you have!!
Go and buy every single one you can!

freddiemisagreatshag · 25/03/2013 11:12

You lot have made me grin from ear to ear thank you so much!

Isn't just such a fantastic dress?

I need milk. I am not going to the spar, I am going to TESCOS Grin

freddiemisagreatshag · 25/03/2013 11:30

Back. I bought another one the same.

They also do it with peach where mine is beige.

And it's only a fiver!

OP posts:
NoMoreMarbles · 25/03/2013 12:04

It is very flattering and you have a lovely figure! Bin those trackies and make the mot of your hourglass shape! :)

freddiemisagreatshag · 25/03/2013 12:07

See, DP says I'm an hourglass. I think I'm a fat apple.

Would It be ridiculous to make sure I go to the bigger tescos tomorrow on my way to meet my friend for lunch and see if they have the peach in a 14 ?

OP posts:
Frenchfemme · 25/03/2013 12:11

Absolutely obligatory to go to the big Tescos! Lovely dress - you look great.

DewDr0p · 25/03/2013 12:11

Definitely hourglass in that dress Smile It's fabulous.

At that price, I'd buy a few. They may not last forever. have a few garments where I so wish that's what I'd done.

freddiemisagreatshag · 25/03/2013 12:13

I am grinning from ear to ear. I am so pleased with it. I would have been happy if it had even been £50 not £5 it looks so fabulous on.
