Hair crisis one week before a wedding. HELP!

Urrggghhh. Last week I went to the hairdressers feeling really ill and as a consequence somehow ended up just agreeing with the words "I think it all needs to come off" I was virtually heaving at this point, from a migraine, not infectious Anyways, result after an encounter with the thinning scissors, I have a short man pixie crop. I feel extremely masucline and also look like a fricking pinhead and now my lovely lacey feminine dress I bought for wedding on Easter Monday looks stupid. In fact I look like one of those dolls which you can swivel around, so that the head, doesn't match the torso or the shoes. With wedding only seven days away, wtaf can I do to look half way decent?

Also, forgot to add I am curvaceous, size 12-14, with huge boobs, hourglass type figure. My head and body look totally mis-matched. Could imagine my haircut would look good one someone petite and flat chested ifyswim.

I bet you will look fab!

Are you wearing a veil?

Maybe some long dangly earrings, dark smoky eyes......beautiful!

Does your fiance like your hair?

Ah, sorry not my actual wedding, thank GAWD becaue I think I would be howling at this point. No, I am a guest at a wedding. Didn't make that at all clear. Hey though Ruprekt, you have cheered me up, this would be like x100 worse if it WAS my actual wedding, so at least I have that to go on! x

GrinGrinHa!

Could be so much worse then!

There is nothing you can do about it now so if I was you, even if I hated it, I would walk in with confidence and hold head up high! Or you will make excuses all day at how much you hate it and be depressed/ing!

  1. Spray tan
  1. Jewelled hair clip

3 smoky eyes

  1. Big earrings

SmileSmileBold and confident......

If there's ever a reason to wear a hat it's a wedding Smile

Fake eyelashes, pretty makeup, flowers in hair or if all else fails a wig.

styling a pixie cut any use?

Curtsey · 25/03/2013 10:12

Ah you poor thing. Don't worry, it'll grow back so quickly. Would you be brave enough to post a pic of yourself? And if you had a link to your outfit? We could find you a good hair accessory. I definitely think that you can't go wrong with short hair +smoky eyes and nicely defined and groomed brows.

dogdays I agree with all of the above. I recently had my shortish (yet still feminine) hair lopped off in a Anne Hathaway fashion. Difference being I asked for it! A lesson learned. Six weeks on, it's growing (pleeeease let it hurry up) but for you, I'd say distract, distract, distract away from the head to focal point earrings/hair accessory/makeup. False lashes.....good idea but practice before the day. Buy some fairly natural ones so you don't look like Lily Savage (drag artist) and....SMILE.

In short, bamboozle the wedding guests. They'll fall over themselves to say how amazing your new style is!!

And can we have a pic on your profile? I want to see someone in a "shorn" state, like me. It'll just help me, psychologically!
