What to wear with blue heels without looking too wag?

Hello style and beauty gurus. Recently went a bit mad in the John Lewis shoe sale. Bought one pair of dark navy patent leather pumps, and one pair of dark teal suede sling backs.

They are lovely shoes but badly styled it would be rather too easy to veer into tacky territory I think.

So could people give me some ideas of how to wear them and still look chic and sophisticated please? I am 37 and my usual style is fairly classic - black slim fit cropped trousers with a fitted polo neck and a pair of heels is the sort of thing I tend to wear day to day.

I thought perhaps wearing the teal slingbacks with an otherwise monochrome outfit for a pop of colour? What do you reckon?

I would wear teal heels with a black or cream dress in summer, with teal cocktail jewellery, say a massive pair of earrings or statement necklace.

Navy patent heels I should think you can wear with anything at all, they are safe as you like

Thanks taking - yes the navy heels are definitely safer. I was thinking the teal heels might look nice with black trousers and a white shirt too perhaps. Gosh, I'm adventurous aren't I!
