Help to style a coat that has only cost me a tenner!

Just bought a coat from Primark which I kinda like but not sure how I should style it. It is very similar to this one from Zara ZARA but a fraction of the price.

I am quite open to everyone telling me this is hideous! I'm a sucker for anything stripy but as it only cost £10, it won't be a great loss if I never wear it. So I'm ready for honest opinions! Be nice......

I like it, I just couldn't wear it myself as it's too straight in the cut. If I could, I'd wear it with plain, dark coloured skinnies and a nicely fitted top

A statment ish brooch or necklace thats all. I would go plain bottoms with maybe a bit height via heels
