JL personal shopper, what to expect?

I have an appointment with the personal shopper at John Lewis tomorrow (gift from my parents). Has anyone had one..? How long does it last? What can I expect? Please tell me about your experiences?

It is good. Lasts around an hour. They go off and get lots of stuff and you try on. In the Edinburgh on they do some alterations for free which is good.

I have done it a few times. Once for a wedding but others are for a general wardrobe update.
