So I have got to fork out for some kids' furniture, thanks to my brother's relentless breeding abilities, as they are all coming over from abroad to stay "for some time". I need your help, because this psychotropic horror seems to be the general kids's style.

You have linked to two lots of furniture. You can but dragons of waltons second hand. Or just get a cheaper version. Buy the bag you want, and then use what funds are left for your guests. They will be fine. But you will be annoyed if you have to compromise on your bag.

Hmmm, I have rather a lot of bags, and I could keep the chair....
