i usually use a lancome foundation but wondering whether to give this a go ? but maybe i will be wasting my money?

i am late thirties , pale , dryish skin , few wrinkles round the eyes and never tried a tinted moisturiser always foundation.

Yes! I bought some about 6 weeks ago, and absolutely love it. I have combination skin so went for the oil free one, but it's still moisturising where I need it. It gives really good coverage (more like a foundation than a tinted moisturiser). I am ghostly pale but seem to have found a good match colour-wise, and it's the first foundation / tinted moisturiser I've found with this level of spf (20) which doesn't make me break out in spots.

yes it's very good
have tried a few others but always come back to this

polyhymnia · 17/03/2013 14:37

Me too. Have a few other favourites but always come back to LM

I have seen it recommended on here many times so recently used a gift voucher to get some. I have been underwhelmed by it in all honesty and would have been disappointed had I paid full price.

I got the oil free version and find it quite thick, more like a foundation than tinted moisturiser. I prefer the Smashbox one myself but it comes down to personal preference. I also think it is very overpriced.

I had the oil free one and found it a bit too emulsion like for me - preferred the bobbi brown one but now settled on doublewear light as my holy grail foundation

shopafrolic · 17/03/2013 20:03

Yes. Best thing ever.

munchkinmaster · 17/03/2013 20:05

I didn't like it so bought chantacaile just skin from space nk insread

Pagwatch · 17/03/2013 20:08

I struggled with it although I love Laura Mercier products.
I think it's a good product but my skin is too oily.

polyhymnia · 17/03/2013 20:10

Chantecaille is excellent too - as is By Terry. Both (even) dearer than LM tho, I think.

Pagwatch · 17/03/2013 20:11

I love Chantecaille. Fantastic range.

polyhymnia · 17/03/2013 20:12

Yes, just wish it were a little cheaper!

Lizzylou · 17/03/2013 20:13

I use the oil free version.
Have had so many compliments.
Fab stuff.
