Stylish bumbag (no I'm not kidding!).

Off to Disney at Easter and was wondering if there is such a thing. I remember Carrie in SATC wearing a Gucci bumbag but obviously that was some time ago!

Anyone seen anything that I can wear without shame?

If I was going to buy something from Gucci it would not be a bumbag!! Grin

Thanks Freerange. That's not too shocking and there is a link to Happy Cow leather bum bags that are actually quite nice!

Ha ha - we're off to Disney at Easter as well and I was wondering the same thing. But as I'm going to be wearing shorts and probably fit flops I will be unstylish anyway.

I was going to get a big one each for me and DH but he point blank refuses to wear one - just as he is vetoing my idea (from a book) of getting neck lanyards for our passes.

why not just take a small handbag you can wear across your chest (as opposed to on one shoulder?) you'll still have your hands free

god I loved bumbags in the late 80's / early 90's - brilliant for clubbing and hands free dancing/snogging

they were actually cool for about 10 minutes

funnily enough saw quite a nice one in Primark and thought 'that would be good for a holiday'

I'd buy a Kipling across the body bag bore a bumbag or fanny pack if you are American. Yu might get something when there?

We're off to Disney at Easter too! Lanyards are brilliant as your ticket is just there so you aren't having to rummage about for them when you want to get a fastpass and less chance of losing them. (Don't know if you know this but take a photocopy/note of your ticket number so if you lose your ticket you can go to guest services and they will replace it). I usually use an across the body bag or get a small rucksack then you can make DH carry it. You are fine storing a bag by your feet on most rides.

I do have a couple of nice messenger type bags which I pack carefully but I just know there'll be a torrent of: "can you put my wallet/keys/sunglasses/water bottle/elephant in your bag". Then it gets heavy and I suffer with achey shoulders. I may shun style and just embrace the bum bag/sun visor/giant soda look! We may even get matching Mickey Mouse sweatshirts.

Just wear an across the body bag and take some plassy ones just in case Grin

Just take a really small bag that will just hold the essentials then again once you are in the parks anything goes. It's defiantly comfort over style. I swore I would never wear crocs but they are a godsend there, really comfy and great if you get caught in a rain storm coz they are dead easy to dry.

Actually think I will buy DH a cheap, nasty bumbag so he can carry his own bloody wallet/keys/water/elephant and I will stick with my Mulberry messenger :)
