Do I have to dryclean this top?

I have a cream chiffon top that needs cleaning. I cut off the care label because the top is see-through so I don't know what the instructions were. Can I get away with hand washing or must I dry clean. The top is from Topshop so not very expensive but very dearly loved!

Could it be silk? If so, you're probably ok. Viscose can do funny things when washed but can be pulled back to shape/cool iron. How much do you love it Grin

I tend to hand wash things even if they say dry clean only (not coats obviously).

Thank you! I love it but not so much that I'm not prepared to take the risk :-)
