He is going through a bit of a breakout just now on his face. Currently sitting pre-lims on the lead up to exams so is a bit stressed which I am told can have an impact on his skin too. Trying hard to keep his diet good with lots of fresh fruit/veg/water but what products are best?

I've seen a lot of OPs about La Roche Posay (SP?) but what is it and which product to go for? HE has been using the Loreal charcoal facewash and also tried Sudacrem at night before bed. Does anyone have any suggestions?

My son uses Pro-active which has been brilliant. It's not a cheap option but you can buy the starter kit from boots for about £40. I now order just the face wash from the pro-active website. The other thing he finds really useful to just dab on is witch Hazel.

Just had a thought, the other facewashhe he found good was cliniques foaming facial wash. That worked well but then I think his skin got used to it and so we needed to change.

My freind had 3 teenagers with spots, and she swears by Johnson's Top to Toe baby wash.

Anything with tea tree oil and or witch hazel should help.

What about this from lush and or for the bad areas They are both probably cheap enough to give them a go and see if they work for him.

Also if he can really keep his water in take up it will help with the skin and with the studying!

A Good Omega 3 6 9 would help to but you are going to want to go a good healthfood store and explain because he will probably need one to balance out the Omega 6 (I THINK and DP is out so I can´t ask him) so please check!

Good luck in the exams for him

Thanks for the replies. The Pro-active stuff looks great but a bit pricey 2 weeks before pay day. I've ordered the Lush ones though so will let you know how he gets on.

Very interesting about the Omega supplement Mummy. We have a good healthfood store nearbv so will try to pop in for advice.
